Kate founded Selfspace to use evidence-based therapies to empower people to thrive. Her approach to therapy is grounded in kindness, compassion and empathy. She cultivates a non-judgement space to be heard and seen, whilst encouraging personal growth. Kate practices Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness-based interventions. She has extensive experience working with a variety of wellbeing challenges, including stress, anxiety, depression, grief and relationship difficulties. Kate is a registered clinical psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency, is a member of the Australian Psychological Society and is a Board Approved Supervisor. |
